Terms of Service

Last updated 23 August 2026 · Rakhi Roast · Operated from India

Short version: we make you a funny, affectionate gift for your sibling. You promise not to use it to hurt anyone. The roast is a joke, not a statement of fact.

1. Who you are dealing with

Rakhi Roast is operated by Let Roast (sole proprietor: Saharsh Pamecha), HSR Layout, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, India. You can reach us at rakhiroast@gmail.com. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. What the service does

You give us a few details about a sibling — their name, your relationship, some habits, and optionally a private note. We use AI models to generate a personalised roast script, a spoken audio version, a short original song, and a piece of cover art. You get a private page you can share by link.

You pay ₹151 (inclusive of applicable taxes) and we then generate the gift — the roast, the voice, the song and the artwork. Nothing is generated before payment.

3. You must be 18 or older to pay

You need to be at least 18 to make a payment. If you are under 18, you may only use the service with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf.

4. The facts you submit about another person

This is the clause that matters most. You are typing personal details about somebody who is not in the room. By submitting them you confirm you have a genuine sibling-like relationship with that person, that the details are things you are entitled to share, and that your intent is affectionate.

You must not submit, and we will not knowingly generate content that:

  • targets someone's appearance, body, caste, religion, region, disability, gender identity or sexuality;
  • refers to trauma, bereavement, illness, addiction, or financial hardship;
  • contains sexual content, or involves a minor in any sexual or degrading way;
  • names a public figure, celebrity, colleague or acquaintance as the target;
  • is intended to bully, threaten, defame, blackmail or harass; or
  • reveals someone else's private information you were told in confidence.

We run an automated safety screen that blocks these categories, and we may refuse or cancel any request at our discretion. The screen is a safeguard, not a permission slip — the responsibility for what you submit stays with you.

5. AI-generated content, and what it is not

Every roast, lyric, voice and image is produced by machine learning models. It is fiction written for comic effect. It is not a factual statement about the person named, not an opinion held by us, and not verified in any way. Output can be unexpected, repetitive, or occasionally wrong even when your input was fine.

The voices are synthetic. They are not recordings of, and are not intended to imitate, any specific real person.

6. What you may do with your gift

Once you have paid, you may keep, download, and privately share your roast, audio, song, video and artwork with your family and friends, including on your own social accounts. That is the whole point.

You may not resell it, use it in advertising, present it as human-made work, or use it to train another AI model. Because the content is machine-generated, its copyright status in India is unsettled, and we cannot promise you an exclusive or enforceable copyright in it.

We do not publish your roast, your submitted facts, or your private note anywhere. If we ever want to feature a roast as an example, we will ask you first.

7. Share links

Your gift page lives at an unguessable link. Anyone who has that link can open the page, so treat it like the gift it is and send it only to people you mean to. You can ask us to take a page down at any time by writing to rakhiroast@gmail.com.

8. If you are the person who got roasted

You can ask us to remove a roast about you. Write to letroast@gmail.com with the link, and we will take the page down and delete the underlying content. We do not require you to explain why, and we will not ask the sender to approve it.

9. Payment, availability and reliability

Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card or UPI credentials. Pricing and refunds are covered in our Refunds & Cancellations policy.

We depend on third-party AI providers. Individual parts of a gift — most often the song — can fail even when everything else worked. Where that happens you can retry the failed part at no extra charge, and if the gift is unusable you are entitled to a refund under the refunds policy.

10. Limits on our liability

We provide the service on an “as is” basis. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim connected to the service is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the gift in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for how a recipient reacts to a joke you chose to send.

Nothing here limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The “last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version, and material changes will not apply retroactively to a gift you have already bought.

12. Grievances, governing law and jurisdiction

Grievance Officer: Saharsh Pamecha, letroast@gmail.com. We aim to acknowledge a complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within 15 days.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru have exclusive jurisdiction.
